Mermaids!

For the month of May, I resolved to do my best to try and draw a mermaid every single day. I didn't quite make it, but I enjoyed being able to pump out a little drawing all the time. I did not use the MerMay prompts, but I might do that one of these days. I just hate feeling like someone's telling me what to do, lol.

This black and white one is modeled after a dress worn by Agnes Ayres in The Sheik, the silent film from 1921.

This one is based off this outfit in the musical dress-up sequence from Singin' in the Rain.

I sort of got sucked into Fantasy Life i on the Switch in toward the end of the month, and I continue to play it. The game is wonderful.

I topped off the mermaid drawings with this little traditional one in a sketchbook. I was in Chicago at the time.
